چکیده

Objectives This study compared full-arch screw-retained implant-supported fixed dental prostheses (FSI-FDPs) and telescopic-retained with a professional retrieval system (FTI-FDPs) on marginal bone loss (MBL), the risk indicators peri-implantitis rate after 7–13 years. Material methods Sixty five edentulous patients were treated 86 592 implants. The FSI-FDP group comprised 26 (32 prostheses, 202 implants), FTI-FDP 39 (54 390 implants). MBL of ≥1 mm assessed. Peri-implantitis rates at 13 years also calculated. Results Full-arch implants exhibited comparable mean MBLs 0.60 ± 0.51 0.41 1.03 mm, respectively. was noted for 25% 6.9% Superstructure–abutment connection (screw retention:FSI-FDPs >telescopic retention:FTI-FDPs) implant–abutment (External butt joint, Internal joint >Morse taper joint) associated mm. implant level 3.99% (95%CI = 3.93–20.5) in 3.85% 3.85–34.3) no significance. Conclusions It concluded that MBL; however, FTI-FDPs lower than FSI-FDPs. Besides, indicator In rate, FSI-FDPs behave similarly.
